Welcome to this course on group-based and preventive support in Steiner pedagogy. The course offers a holistic approach to education, focusing on the balanced development of thinking, feeling and will. Through rhythm, artistic activities and reflective practice, participants will gain practical tools and deeper understanding to support learning, well-being and human development.

Learning Objectives
Participants will:
• understand the principles of group-based and preventive support from a Steiner pedagogical perspective
• recognize the role of rhythm, artistic activity and teacher presence in supporting learning and well-being
• understand the pedagogical significance of will, feeling and thinking in teaching and support
• reflect on the importance of teacher–pupil encounter and pedagogical attunement

• Teacher–pupil encounter and pedagogical attunement

Target Group
Teachers, early childhood educators, and educational professionals who wish to deepen their competence in group-based support and apply Steiner pedagogical approaches in their own practice. Also, to parents willing to learn more about holistic education possibilities in Steiner pedagogy.

The course includes: 

• Preparatory online phase (2–3 weeks, approx. 10 hours)
• Intensive on-site period (1 week, approx. 30 hours contact + guided work)
• Follow-up online phase (2–3 weeks, approx. 10 hours)

128 € (EU/EEA residents) 

600 € (non-EU/EEA residents)

The cost covers all the lectures, workshops etc. during the studying days, guidance and support for studies throughout the course, online meetings and orientation, study materials, and the organization of school visits and the school visits.

The fee does not include visa costs, travel expenses to Finland or within Finland, accommodation, meals, or any optional excursions during leisure time.
The course will be held once a sufficient number of participants have registered.
Registration

The course fee will be invoiced after registration. Registration is binding.

If, after registering, a participant is unable to attend, they have the right to participate in the next equivalent course at Snellman College. Please contact info@s-k.fi for further information.

The course fee will be refunded only if the course is cancelled by the institution.
